Fascial Abrasion Technique (FAT-Tool™) is a specialized form of instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy that uses the uniquely designed FAT-Tool™ to assess and address areas of restricted or dysfunctional soft tissue. The tool allows the practitioner to feel changes in tissue texture and apply targeted pressure and friction to areas of fascial restriction.
During a session, the FAT-Tool™ is moved across the skin using specific treatment angles and techniques. This mechanical stimulation is intended to improve tissue mobility, encourage healthy circulation, and help restore more comfortable, efficient movement. Treatment may be particularly useful for areas affected by muscular tension, repetitive stress, limited mobility, or soft-tissue restriction.
Fascial Abrasion Technique can be incorporated into a customized bodywork session alongside other therapeutic techniques to address the individual needs of each client. Because treatment intensity can be adjusted, the technique can range from focused work on a specific restriction to broader treatment of an affected region.
Potential benefits may include: improved soft-tissue and fascial mobility, increased range of motion, reduced muscular tension, improved circulation to the treated area, and greater ease of movement.
Individual responses to treatment vary. Fascial Abrasion Technique is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions and should not replace evaluation or care from an appropriate healthcare professional.

As a massage therapist, I would recommend adding Neuromeningeal Manipulation for several reasons.

Firstly, Neuromeningeal Manipulation can affect the entire body due to the connection of the brain to the entire body. Often times when we take pressure off of the nervous system, the rest of the body can experience benefit even if we do not directly massage the painful area

Neuromeningeal Manipulation can also enhance the effectiveness of other massage techniques by targeting specific areas of concern such as a specific nerve that supplies the painful area and providing a deeper level of relaxation. Overall, incorporating Neuromeningeal Manipulation into your massage can provide a more comprehensive and beneficial experience.

You can also mix and match all of the massage techniques that I offer during your massage through a custom massage session with me.
